The government passed laws on how citizens can vote ... millions voted following those laws ... a court rules th law, which was legal at the time of the election, is now unconstitutional... thd government can't now say to the millions of citizens who followed law, you're now disenfranchised for following the law.

The time for the courts to be asked to look at that law was before the election. Republicans had that opportunity but opted not to. Now the votes are legal in accordance with the law at that time. Going forward, that law is no longer in play for future elections.
