There is several profound problems with Matt Gaetz and his allies trying to oust Speaker McCarthy. One they are not realistic the Republicans are not in control in the Senate and they do not hold the White House so they are not going to get their agenda on the country's finances through in Washington. Two, they don't acknowledge the stark policy difference between the Democrats and the Republicans, the Democrats believe the Federal Government should spend more and the national debt is a problem and the solution is to raise taxes and the Republicans believe taxes are high enough and the sole problem is the Federal Government spends too much. Third, the only path forward for a party that wants the reputation they can govern is to compromise on budget bills and because rank and file members of Congress have a difficult time swallowing this point the country only sees last minute omnibus spending bills passing in the country this is the reality that will exist in Washington until one of the parties can convince the American people to give them full power in Washington. What the Matt Gaetz gang fail to recognize is that their tactics are only going to make things worse ain't no way Democrats agreeing to budget bills lower than the debt ceiling agreement the only thing they will accomplish is they will cause chaos in the House of Representatives and lose some swing voters in swing districts next election. Watching the Gaetz gang bring about the removal of the Speaker of the House is like watching a driver of an automobile deliberately seriously crash that driver's car!
