Fundamental differences between Democrats and Republicans

How were you tricked, mudwhistle, and no this is not a "trick" question. I am curious.

I gave them loans they promised to pay back but never did.

Obama and the Dems talk about predatory lenders.

What about predatory borrowers.

The professionals should be guarding against them, I would think. If there were not regulations requiring verification of crucial financial disclosures, etc., then there sure should have been. I know there was when I bought in 1992 and again late last year. I do not know what it was like in the years in between.

1992 was a long time ago and regulations tended to change weekly.

Someone is bullshitting.

When I got my mortgage I had to put 20% down or pay a higher rate.

Then if I didn't pay the mortgage I lost the house and my 20%. Thats how a mortgage is supposed to work. The "lender" has no risk. If the borrower defaults the lender "forecloses" and re-sells the house.

Whats the problem here??

If you don't pay you should lose your down-payment.

The lender has plenty of risk. Most of the time they only get back 3/4ths of their investment. 100% of the sales price goes to the seller or the mortgage holder and the bank keeps the note. So they are at risk. I had to carry a note on my home that I sold in California because the buyer couldn't qualify otherwise....but they defaulted and I had to eat $42,000.00. Anyone who carries a note is taking a risk.

Yes....those poor folks sure get shafted alot by those evil "Fat Cat" bankers.

Awful nice of our rich SOB president bad mouthing banks so his supporters can take advantage of them any chance they get.

Pretty much giving them a license to steal.

It's the Republicans who many say they want to secede from the Union.

It's the Republicans who want to stand in the way of civil rights.

It's the Republicans who block the funding of soldiers overseas and use them for political reasons.

Republicans want to end social security and have no plan to take care of the elderly. What is that telling us what we should do with the elderly?

It's the Republicans who don't want to spend money on America's infrastructure even though 70,000 bridges have been named "unsafe".

It's the Republicans who want to bring religion into government (perhaps similar to the Iranian style of government?.

And yet, somehow, the Republicans have convinced the majority of Americans, that they are somehow "patriotic". Odd, truly odd.

Wow you actually got one part of that right - The Republicans have convinced a lot of people they are patriotic.

What is the Fundamental differences between Democrats and Republicans?


Is it that Republicans program their crazies while Democrats are programmed by their crazies?

For those that don't know history ... Here is a condensed version:

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:
1. Liberals, and
2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement..

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. Those became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud or Miller. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, engineers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans.. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America. They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.
