Freedom of speech means you can express your opinion, which this guy can do. He can express he does not like Trump and no law is going to say he cant do that but, if you drive around with the F word emboldened on your windows and it is clearly intended as an insult, than that is an abuse of your free speech. that may be considered as fighting words to some. Unless you are a complete IDIOT, expect reactions to the insult that you may not like. The police probably want to talk to him about his own safety.

My point here wasn't that this guy was right.

My point was had he had "Obama" and was in New York, some on the right would be shouting out about their freedom of speech, yet here they'd support it.
