Four Down!!

Is that the same voters who just had an election 6 months ago? Have they been told that most programs take time to work? Or have they been brainwashed by the press?

Or Coereced by Union thuggery ?

:lol::lol: Yeah, that's it. Union thugs coerced 19 districts into voting for Dems after they voted for Repubs in 2010. Union thugs coerced thousands of voters into signing recall petitions against Repubs.

Go have another drink.
Not sure about that, but I damn sure wouldn't be surprised.....Seiing as though the Teachers union, Police and fire union, etc., engaged in blatant thuggery by mailing threatening letters to businesses who didn't support their cause, or for contributing to Walkers campaign.

And the idiotic left wing union lovers just can't seem to wonder why unions are losing popularity across the board.

Flee instead of standing up and fighting for what they thought was right.

Funny, I think what they did WAS standing up and fighting. Instead of taking things lying down, they really pushed the issue by forcibly delaying the vote. They left the state to prevent a quorum, and in doing so helped to force the opposition to wait longer; their whole intention all along was to buy more time. They could have taking things lying down. They could have just gone into the office, accepted that things weren't going to go the way they wanted, and could have written it off. Nobody would have thought less of them. But that was not enough. They weren't ready to give up yet. They elevated the battle to the next level. Disagree with their position all you want, but the real absence of honor is anyone who would be so dishonest as to say that these people failed to stand up and fight or that they abandoned their duty. They saw their duty to their constituents through moreso than most politicians would have the stomach to risk doing.

Nooooooooo, what they did was abandon the posts they were elected to uphold. They left their constituents without representation.....There is no honor in that. None whatsoever.....They knew they couldn't win. They should have stayed, and taken the fight to another day. Instead they decided to abandon their jobs. The jobs they were ELECTED to perform.

They are cowards, nothing more!

Well, if the people think that anything will get better after 4 months then they should have been recalling Obama 2 years ago.....

It's the same thing. Except on a national level his shit has had 2 years and hasn't worked.....

If the people of Wisconsin want instant change I hope they waste all their time and money they don't have and get exactly what they want and deserve.

I will be here in Ohio fighting to keep our law at least long enough to see if it works. If it does great, if it doesn't then next election I'll vote for someone new again....

See this post folks words of wisdom. People pay thousands of dollars for this or take expensive retreats for this type of wisdom, and we get it for free.:clap2:

They took the peoples money and ran and hid like little pussys. Plain and simple it is not in their job description to leave the state...

Poll: Americans favor union bargaining rights - USATODAY.com

Americans strongly oppose laws taking away the collective bargaining power of public employee unions, according to a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. The poll found 61% would oppose a law in their state similar to such a proposal in Wisconsin, compared with 33% who would favor such a law.

Oooooops, how many unions and members are there now, compared to thirty years ago?

It's a slowly dying proposition.....And once states start showing that these recent fights worked, it will only further damage the unions luster.

Unsustainable benefits are what they are. Thye must be dealt with. No more raping of the states by thugs.

Nooooooooo, what they did was abandon the posts they were elected to uphold.

No they didn't. They just threw a monkey wrench in the gears and forced their side of the issue to be reckoned with.

They left their constituents without representation.

No they didn't. They forced their constituents voice to be heard. They forced all representation to be on their constituents' terms.

They should have stayed, and taken the fight to another day.

Whether it was a battle worth fighting is a matter of opinion that I don't care to get into. The issue I am raising is simply that, as your comment here concedes, they did stand and fight. They forced the battle into circumstances that gave them better positioning and gave them better leverage. They were committed to their side of the issue and took a risky course of action in an effort to remain dedicated to their cause. Like I said, there's plenty of room for disagreement with their position on the issue. But for Stephanie to say that these people failed to stand up and fight is dishonest.

Instead they decided to abandon their jobs. The jobs they were ELECTED to perform.

They are cowards, nothing more!

How is it abandoning their job to stand up and fight for the issues their constituents elected them to fight for? How are they cowards for taking a very risky move that had great potential, nay certainty, for backlash, when they had much safer options available to them?

Indeed. And the people that have to foot that bill had NO SEAT at that table when those deals were made.

It's time for UNIONS to be responsible for themselves.

They simply refuse to understand that not only is the country broke, but most of the states are broke too. We have to spend less at all levels of government, and the people aren't going to like it. But someone needs to make them understand that the democrat utopia isn't going to work.

They took the peoples money and ran and hid like little pussys. Plain and simple it is not in their job description to leave the state...

Nothing is in their job description. But the chamber's rules regarding quorums seems to at the very least anticipate these kinds of actions. So it seems to me that this is a legitimate act.

Did they not know they were going to lose?

Did they not abandon their constituents, and leave them without proper representation? ( You do realize that constitiuents include ALL people they represent, not just the ones who voted for them, correct?)

They could have stayed "dedicated to their cause" without fleeing like the cowards they are. No different than a boxer throwing in the towel after knowing he lost the first round. Or a soldier abandoning his fellow troops because he doesn't have the stomach to go on. Cowards are cowards. And that's exactly what they are.

Funny wasn't it obamas and the democrats mandate to let any bill be open for public view before any bill was to be voted on? How did that work?

Yeah they lied about that as well.

And even if they did? (Nevermind that the phone lines and emails were flooding to the Negative toward Obamacare)?

They did it anyway. The ultimate arrogance, the ultimate INSULT.

And why they LOST the House.

Not only that, it's the GoOpers in Wisconsin who started this recall frenzy by going after the so-called "fleebaggers". Interestingly, they might not be able to get a recall against any of them off the ground.

You really need to stop getting your info from HuffyPuffy....

Here's four Fleebagger recall efforts that are well "off the ground"...

Recall Wirch (has enough signatures - still collecting)
Recall Wirch

Recall Hansen (despite the theft of petitions - has enough sigs - still collecting )
Recall Senator Dave Hansen

Recall Holperin (still collecting signatures)
Recall Jim Holperin 12th District

Recall Miller (still collecting signatures due April 26th)
Recall Mark Miller

Well, we'll just see how it all shakes out then, won't we.

Nice punt...

No word on where you got that they "couldn't get recall efforts off the ground"? Huffy or was it Nonthinkingprogress?

My position on WI as an outsider.

The people elected the governor, the people elected individuals to represent them.

If they got something more (or different) than they wanted, they elect someone different the next election cycle.

If they feel someone did something that rises to the level of recalling them from their position, the process should be undertaken. (Rising to the level doesn't mean that the people that got elected doen't share the same ideas as you.)

You don't flee the state if you are hired to represent the people. You don't engage in breaking and entering other people's properties.

It's really that simple.

They fled the state to represent the will of the people.

:cuckoo:

No, the chickenshit Fleebaggers left to represent the will of the democratics...

Remember when this recall process started and a bunch of righties here were falling all over themselves laughing and claiming the Dems wouldn't even get the sigs?

That was funny.
