Their nuclear capabilities have increased along with improved delivery capabilities. This week they are threatening the US like they did before Trump but with the increased capabilities.
Trump pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal. As a result, Iran has increased its nuclear capabilities to the highest levels in history. Iran is a much bigger threat in 2020 than 2015.
Despite Trump claiming he and Xi are friends, US and China are heading towards a cold war. The relations are the worst they have been in decades. Because of the cold war with the Soviet Union, we know how damaging and costly cold wars can be.
