FOOD PRODUCING SHOULD BE GOV’T OWNED.

I believe our food production system would work more efficient and cost effective if owned and controlled by the Federal government. Present owners would sell their businesses, farming, dairy, meat and poultry, etc to the government. In return government would finance growing and processing, control distribution and provide necessary workers. Owners would have to option of remaining and run the business. Government also has access to unlimited supply of cheap labor.

Soon we are not going to have enough food producing business to sustain population growth. Business have move to Mexico. We import 70% of our food. Those business that moved should be paid to return and give ownrship and control to the government or stay in Mexico and sell to Mexico. Government can produce more efficient and cost effective and abundance of cheap food for Americans.

It’s not like it has not been done before. Farmers were paid to not grow and surplus are bought by government for food banks.. Milk, peanut butter, beans, fruit and vegetable, cereal, pork, chicken, beef and tuna, cheese, juice, etc.

That's not a good idea at all. The government is notoriously bad at allocating capital efficiently. Government should only be involved when either there is market failure, when something is deemed too important to be left to the market, or to make markets work better.

Yeah. That worked real well in the Soviet Union.

The government? Our government? The same people that pay farmers not to grow stuff? I think you've lost touch with reality, they couldn't run a nickle lemonade stand without screwing it up.
