Are you using the V's to mean downward arrows?

The statement is pretty clear but if you want to know more, there's no end to informative links.

Or are you saying you don't agree with "eliminating disparities and inequities"? If so, many RWs would agree with you while the left would surely disagree.

Ahh.. this has nothing to do with the first lady. But it is laying the ground work for the next big power grab. They're centralizing control of our fundamental needs. The 'tell' is when they start calling it a 'system'.

Yeah, next thing we know, we'll be giving food stamps to children and the elderly.

Food justice is about seeking to give poor people the knowledge and opportunity to grow their own food and expanding access of fresh local produce so that people can eat healthy. You may not realize this, but in many urban areas, it's hard to obtain nutritious food. So, for instance, expanding locations and access to farmer's markets, urban gardens, etc.

A lot of urban areas have been labeled as food deserts, which means that there are no stores that can be accessed that sell fresh produce within walking distance (i.e., a person cannot access these stores without a car). Food justice is about giving people tools to take care of themselves. So, teaching people to plant a garden in their small yard. Or, using vacant lots to create community gardens.

It's hard to imagine attacking a movement to teach poor people to grow their own food.

Sadly, to some, that's oh, I don't know, Communism, Socialism, yadda yadda.

What in the world could be bad about helping people help themselves?

Thank you.
Sometimes a question is just a question

I am a farm girl, so I am a big fan of teaching people to grow food. Most people don't eat as well as I did when I was growing up. Even now, my family eats better than most because I was raised learning how to cook from the garden.

The next thing you know, we'll be putting insurance companies in charge of providing everyone with "food security".

Me too but many (most?) poor people don't even have a square of dirt. I would like to see more education on container veggies and scrap gardens.

Scrap gardens are literally free food.

“To combat these inequities and excesses, a movement for food justice has emerged in recent years seeking to transform the food system from seed to table.”
Both these people MOcchelle and Eschen
Does this mean the moochelle will demand that all fast food establishments stop serving beef and phillycheese-steak sandwiches?
Both Moochelle and this Eschmeyer person are a couple of far left wing moon bat crack pots.
No way does this ever come to fruition.
For starters, it's illegal under Title 15 of the US Code ( restraint of trade)
