When ‘open carry’ meets ‘stand your ground'.

LARGO, Fla. (AP) — A shooting at a Florida auto shop that killed two men was triggered by a former customer’s dissatisfaction with work done on his car two years ago, police said Thursday.

The Largo Police Department said Eugene Frank Becker, 78, arrived at Stout’s Automotive in a rental car Wednesday and sought out business owner Jodie Stout, 52. Investigators say Becker pulled out a handgun and shot Stout, who returned fire with his own gun, striking Becker multiple times.

Some people are just monkeys. No sense of how to deescalate situations. Just monkey rage.

This is an amazing state that gets a bad rap because our arrest records are public. There are crazy people everywhere.
Arrest records are public in every state in the union. But, it's easier to look up criminals in FL 'cause there's so many. <I keed>

So sad that the shop owner hadn't been just a little faster and more aware. He might still be alive. At least he was fully aware of the necessity of carrying for his protection. No one should have to stand unarmed and helpless while some psycho starts shooting at them. Legislators should be held accountable when criminals have guns and good guys don't, resulting in the death or injury of a good guy.

I’m not sure what the problem is. Both people armed. Both were able to settle their differences in a satisfactory manner. What’s the problem?

It has been my experience that there are 2 Floridas. There is the Florida around the coasts, then there is the deep, dark interior of Florida where you find a special breed of redneck. It is the interior redneck that gets into trouble.

Did you hear about the interior redneck who illegally killed an alligator? He got pissed at the animal because it would not stay still so he could fuck it.

Lots of senior citizens in Florida and lots of guns. It's a tragic incident that clearly questions the mental acuity of the 78year old. What do you do when the president of the United States is 80 and his actions indicate a mental breakdown and he has his trembling thumb on the freaking Bomb? Wait until a shootout happens?

Thoughts and prayers for the people whose broken vehicles are now stuck in the middle of a crime scene. Man you might as well just go buy one rather than go through the hassle of trying to get your ride back from the police and a dead mechanic.
