"The people of America have been overcharged and I am here on their behalf to ask for a refund," Bush said.

Congress ought to give it to him.

Want to know why Boehner and the GOP is so against the tax cuts being taken away?

Because they knew when they passed them 10 years ago that in order to make them permanent, they had to show that they would actually stimulate the economy, or, to make them permanent with no growth, they would have to cut other programs.
