Feds Move to Obtain Land for Trump Border Wall

Texas landowners along the Mexican border received letters from Washington recently notifying them of the government’s intent to buy their land to build the border wall. Acquiring the real estate could be the biggest step for President Donald Trump to overcome in his effort to secure the border.

Access to the access road during construction probably. Once the wall is built the landowners will again have full use of their land but the road in will remain US property. 700 miles of fencing are already built.

They don't respect U.S. sovereignty, which was the point. they can't whine about it because they have ignored it for hundreds of years.

While it wouldn't bother me in the least if we did do that, they aren't due any such consideration, it was just a tongue-in-cheek statement, only half-serious.
