Federal judges rewrite constitution again. Say illegals have right to drivers licenses

I was taught that driving was a privilege and not a right, How times have changed!

Of course, there is nothing in the constitution about rights for people that aren't even allowed to be here.!! The judges took their usual bribes from the Illegal Alien Lobby.

Supreme Court denies stay path cleared for dreamers to get licenses

dec 17 2014
For more than two years, Gov. Jan Brewer has waged a costly legal battle to keep driver's licenses out of the hands of young undocumented immigrants known as dreamers.

She has lost one court decision after another.

On Wednesday, less than three weeks before she leaves office, Brewer was dealt another defeat when the U.S. Supreme Court cleared the way for "dreamers" to get licenses.

The court denied Brewer's request for a delay that would have allowed her to keep denying licenses to dreamers while she prepares an appeal to the justices.

Within hours of the Supreme Court's decision, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals instructed U.S. District Judge David Campbell to issue a preliminary injunction blocking Brewer's driver's-license ban.
Wrong again, as usual.

All persons in the United States are entitled to equal protection of the law, including state laws that regulate the issuing of a driver's license. Because those undocumented are not 'illegal' until found guilty in a court of law, and because they are persons in every sense of the word, they are entitled to apply for a driver's license. For the state to deny undocumented immigrants the opportunity to apply based on a presumption of guilt is un-Constitutional.
fuck off jones....if you cant hang around to discuss the shit you throw up then why comment?....has your single ball dropped yet?....

shoots, your interpretation of the U.S. Constitution is stone cold wrong.
Doubt it, the lefts is. Illegals don't deserve drivers licenses, period. Stupid libtards.
Actually this is both ignorant and stupid.

One is not 'illegal' until found guilty in a court of law of entering the country absent authorization. Until then undocumented immigrants are entitled to equal protection of the law, including applying for a driver's license.

this quite possibly the dumbest post i've ever read. they are illegal aliens, a judge is not necessary to call them illegal. nonsense.
jones is the kind of guy who thinks if you shoplift you are not guilty of stealing unless you are caught and convicted in court....otherwise if you can get away with it...you are perfectly legal....

That you and others on the right fear and hate Hispanics is not justification to violate 14th Amendment jurisprudence.

The Constitution exists to safeguard the due process rights of all persons in the United States, including those undocumented, from the fear, ignorance, and hate exhibited by you and most other conservatives.

Because that person hasn't been found guilty of entering the country illegally. ...

The person is not a citizen.

The person is a foreign national.

The person has no authorization, to be here.

The person is therefore guilty of being here, outside the law... thus the person is guilty of being here ILLEGALLY.

Such does not require adjudication, as it is an axiomatic fact.
jones dont do questions or replies to his bullshit....

"Federal judges rewrite constitution again. Say illegals have right to drivers licenses"

So much ignorance and stupidity stuffed into a singe thread title – remarkable.

how do illegals have a right to a driver's license? please explain.
to jones they are not illegal because no judge said they are...so they must be citizens....according to the "attorney" jones coming across the border without permission is not breaking the law...unless you get caught .....

Bullshit. Typical of a libtard thinking crazy. Idiot.

That's nonsense. Nowhere does the constitution say illegal invaders have rights. The idea is absurd. THINK

Uh - really.

Which article of the Constitution refers to driving?
The 10th Amendment, silly.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people
Incorrect.

Although the states are at liberty to enact laws where appropriate, the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause requires the states to allow all persons in the United States equal access to state laws, having nothing to do with the Tenth Amendment.
AND the states are perfectly within their rights to demand proof of citizenship or legal resident status before issuing a drivers' license

A drivers license should not be a proof of citizenship, it should be a proof of your driving ability
States all set various requirements for obtaining a driver's license. You can be suspended for failing to pay property tax on your vehicle, for being behind on child support. Why can they not deny a license to someone who has entered the country illegally?
Because that person hasn't been found guilty of entering the country illegally. And when found guilty of entering the country illegally the issue of obtaining a driver's license becomes moot, as they're now subject to being deported. .
They suspend for taxes and child support without a guilty verdict.
