Bush ran up the tab on two wars, except Congress, controlled by Democrats, voted to fund all of them. Bush told everyone Saddam had WMD. But those in Congress who said exactly the same thing and criticised Bush for not doing enough about them never said a word. Bush blew the budget, but Obama cut spending, even though spending is higher than under Bush, and the deficit is higher than under Bush, with the exception of the last fiscal year when we had a recession.
