The "op-ed" so blithely dismissed contains reference to the damning Memo from the Clintonista moled into the Deep State part of the State Dept.

It says clearly that Steele says the Institution he works for {now known to be the DNC} "was keen to have the information {the Steele Dossier} made public before November 8 {Election Day}."

It clearly proves that the Steele Dossier was nothing but a political hit piece paid for by Clintonistas and filled with errors or lies; and also that the FBI was absolutely notified of those facts, yet nevertheless used the Steele Dossier to defraud the FISA Court and get supposed authority to, in effect, spy on the Trump Campaign, including retroactively condone all the spying they had been doing without authority.

It is precisely the illegal abuse that Liberals, when some were sane, and Libertarians and others feared about the Patriot Act---meant to protect us from Terrorists--was passed----that a Rogue Executive would pervert it to spy on its own enemies instead of the enemies of the country. Exactly what Obama did in conspiracy with the Clintonistas.
