The very idea that the existence / continued operation of the AGAIN-DUPED secret FISA Court should be allowed to depend on the promise not to do it by the agency who has criminally committed FISA abuses under 2 FBI Directors over more than a decade & based on their plan to POLICE THEMSELVES is completely INSANE.
Both the FISA Court and the FBI are hoping this political judicial theater will appease the American people - the victims if the FBI's repeated FISA Court abuses - enough to allow them to continue to operate based on the promise / plan of the criminals who have continued to victimize the American people.
The FISA Court should be Shut down until a full investigation has been conducted, those she engaged in the FISA Court abuses are punished, and until both the FBI and the FISA Court are placed under outside/external supervision / control to ensure this never happens again.
The FBI has proven it can not be trusted to adhere to the Constitution and obey the law...
... & the FISA Court has proven over a decade - after having already caught then-FBI Director Mueller and his FBI committing FISA Court abuses - that it has no process / ability to ensure it is not being used, at the mercy of criminals who choose to use them to break laws and victimize American citizens.
