The FBI should be going into mosques and checking for terrorist (and ISIS connection) activity. They could do this openly or undercover. I would advise the undercover approach, since Muslims are notorious for lying (taqiyya is Islamic) and saying one thing publicly, and another when they think they are talking only to other Muslims.

Since 2011, the FBI's hands have been tied by Obama, when it comes to investigating Muslims and mosques. Since 9-11, the wide domestic spy net the administration has cast, has included mosques. But after CAIR and the ACLU (who else ?) filed suit against the FBI for allegedly violating the civil rights of Muslims in Los Angeles, by hiring an undercover agent to pose a worshipper to monitor mosques there,” the special, high-level Sensitive Operations Review Committee with the Justice Department, must now give approval for monitoring mosques.

This policy must be rescinded, and Americans should be raking their Congressmen over the coals for not demanding its cancellation. Every tool the FBI can use to go after the clandestine snakes who prey on Americans, whether in connection with ISIS or not, should be employed. This is war, and it is no time for the American people to be playing patty-cake with any cult, ideology, religion, or psuedo-religion, when they are harboring terrorism, as has proven to be the case many times over.

An editorial in Investor's Business Daily last year ripped the Obama administration for the National Security Agency’s ability to monitor our communications, while the FBI has been forced to jump through hoops to conduct investigations inside mosques. Not mincing words, the editorial said:

"The White House assures that tracking our every phone call and keystroke is to stop terrorists, and yet it won’t snoop in mosques, where the terrorists are. That’s right, the government’s sweeping surveillance of our most private communications excludes the jihad factories where homegrown terrorists are radicalized."And >>>

"Before mosques were excluded from the otherwise wide domestic spy net the administration has cast, the FBI launched dozens of successful sting operations against homegrown jihadists — inside mosques — and disrupted dozens of plots against the homeland.

If only they were allowed to continue, perhaps the many victims of the Boston Marathon bombings would not have lost their lives and limbs. The FBI never canvassed Boston mosques until four days after the April 15 attacks, and it did not check out the radical Boston mosque where the Muslim bombers worshipped.

The bureau didn’t even contact mosque leaders for help in identifying their images after those images were captured on closed-circuit TV cameras and cellphones."Another example of Obama's PC fanaticism gone wild, allowing the endangering of the American people, AND THEIR DEATHS, at a time when we most need PROTECTION.

You mean the feds are respecting the civil rights of muslims?

Man, you must be pissed.

No, I mean they're DISrespecting the rights of ALL Americans (including Muslims) to be safe. And you SHOULD be pissed,

PS - they don't have any civil right to not have FBI agents watching them.

I suspect there is a much higher scrutiny of organized Muslim organizations (mosques, charities, civic groups and the like) than anyone in gov. would risk disclosing at this time. Those who think there is no spying on these organizations are just being foolish. Of course they are watching them.

Please supply one shred of evidence to support that claim. If you've got it, let's hear it.

There is no evidence as to the scope and manner of ongoing investigations and you know it. Anything you have to support your theory that the government is not watching these groups is even more speculative than my guess that they are. It's the government, they watch people who they see as even a slight potential threat. They have the capability to do it so they are.
