and when I got a bit older, Saturday Night Live, with the ORIGINAL crew!

Oh, and Monty Pithon and what was the name of the other show.... the one with the pervert and short old man..... he died a few years ago.... I watched them on PBS on Saturday nights at 11 and every now and then, you would get a little shot of T&A.... a must see when you are a 12 y/o boy and bursting into puberty!

you olde enough to remeber the banana splits? how about dark shadows?

Dark Shadows was on again briefly in the 80's. The new episodes never caught on. The vampire dude was cool. Just like Mission Impossible, they were cancelled after less than one season.

Can't think of many off hand, but...

Cartoons (I loved cartoons. Still do. Didn't like Mickey Mouse).
Bewitched
Combat
Alfred Hitchcock Theater (scared me most of the time)
HeeHaw
Fawlty Towers

Outer Limits
Combat
cartoons (Felix the Cat, Bugs Bunny, etc)
Sea Hunt

Only had three stations and two were very snowy.

Gilligan's Island (reruns after school)
Charlie's Angels
The Six Million Dollar Man
Dukes of Hazard
The A-Team
Knight Rider
The Incredible Hulk
The Fall Guy

It's really sad...I was all grown up when those came out.

I just remembered the name of the show.... Benny Hill. Loved it!

I am seeing a lot of shows that I liked but had forgotten about being listed. I have to say though, Gilligan's Island after school is the one that sticks in my mind the most at the earliest age. That and the 3 Stooges in the mornings before school.

I hated television, but when I did watch it was usually headbangers ball.
Back when MTV still played JUST music!

Rowen and Martins Laugh In.........

That show almost ruined my leg.

Remember the part where Artie Johnson would come out dressed as the old man riding a tricycle and then turn over? At 3 or 4 years old, this was the funniest thing I'd ever seen. So, I go out to the backyard, get on my tricycle, ride a little way, and turn over. Of course, at that age it is required that you do it over and over and over. Ended up pulling, straining, or tearing almost everything in my right leg. Woke up the next day, couldn't walk, and had my grandmother (who overreacted to everything anyway) convinced that I had MS.

Funny show though.

I liked a lot of shows that have been mentioned, but as far as can't miss, I had to see it every week, we all had our favorites in the house.

Mine were: The Six Million Dollar Man, Starsky and Hutch, and Mork and Mindy.

My sister: Variety shows like Donnie and Marie, Sonny and Cher, and Tony Orlando and Dawn.

The adults: Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, and Hee Haw.

All of us: MASH and Happy Days.
