Interesting how 9/11/2001 is not mentioned in the study (or at least in the blog report) comparing the 1990's with the first 11 years of the 20th century.

TheRawStory.com seems to be cherry picking from the study to associate voilence against minority groups with the OBAMA presidency, when in reality, there has been an increase (however insignificant) in hate crimes against Moslums:

We do talk about it and it's been discussed many times that guns are an open market in America and only isolated cities like NYC can get the guns off the streets. When you get the guns off the streets, you drop the murder rate.

The system we have now allows anyone who can pass a background check to purchase weapons for people who shouldn't have them. I've shown ways that could be changed, but the gun nuts are afraid the government is going to come and get their guns.
