The details: Trump faces 13 state charges, with prosecutors alleging that he tried to undo the election results in that state.

Planned trial date: None yet, though two of Trump’s 18 co-defendants are scheduled for trial Oct. 23.

What happened: Trump decided he would not try to move the state charges against him to federal court, per our colleague Amy Gardner. He had previously dangled that possibility. Several of his co-defendants have tried and failed to get their trials moved.
