Famous Restaurant Owner...government Killing Our Business...

government now feels that owners should pay for a good health care plan and stop making the tax pay pay for it

See, now this is the difference between libertarian/conservative/tea party people and liberal/socialist/progressive/democrat people...

A business is a free enterprise, the employer and the employee are free individuals....it is not the employers obligation to control and see to every aspect of his employees life because they too are free people...they both agree to a wage and compensation package...as free men and women....and then they go to work...if one decides the agreed upon wages and bennies aren't equitable...they peacefully go on their way...

For the libs/prog/soc/democrats...they have residual feelings for their old style of running things...back in the days when the democrats actually owned black people as slaves...back then...they were responsible for every aspect of their slaves lives...from their food, clothing, shelter...and healthcare....and sadly...that desire to control other peoples lives never left their mind set...which is why when they see a business...they automatically assume a master/slave relationship....

This is where the free people who call themselves libertarians, conservatives and Tea Party members get confused by their counterparts on the liberal/socialist/progressive/democrat side of the aisle...we think...why would anyone want to own another person....?

I guess the lefties would have to explain that because I can't....

Only back then, Democrats were CONSERVATIVES.... jeez.

Democrats were CONSERVATIVES.

Sorry...not true...the Conservative in the United States is trying to "Conserve," the founding principals of the country...slavery was not one of them...democrats were trying to keep an ancient custom from around the world...slavery...that was brought to the U.S. by Africans and Europeans. The founding document...The Declaration of Independence stated that all men are created equal...and did not single out Africans as being less so...

A Look Into the Constitutional Understanding of Slavery Ashbrook

A comparison and analysis of all three clauses that dealt with slavery point to the fact that slavery was neither widely accepted nor expected to continue. All three clauses referred to slaves as "Persons" and not property. Also, the fact that the word "slave" was never written in the Constitution demonstrated that slavery was not accepted by all the Framers, and they hoped it would be eliminated. They did not want to explicitly refer to slavery in a document that was supposed to stand the test of time, if the institution would inevitably die out.

Also, the protection of the slave trade only until 1808 indicated that Congress was likely to abolish it, which they soon did. As further proof of the inevitable end of slavery, neither the three-fifths compromise nor the fugitive-slave clause was offered any protection under the Constitution, as the slave trade had been protected from amendment. The limitation of the slave trade to only the original states and then the adoption of the Northwest Ordinance, which prohibited slavery in the territories, also indicated that slavery was the exception rather than the rule.

You can sell the democrat talking points somewhere else...

So Emiril is going broke. That means he's going to start cutting corners and any product he now sells becomes tainted. What's he now putting in his spice mixture, Chinese junk?

Government doesn't want business to thrive.
They don't have control that way.
Liberals want people dependent on government,
Makes no sense Roz

The gov't loves tax revenues....it is to congress critters advantage for businesses to be profitable so they can get their fingers on the tax monies generated by their profit.

What are you going on about?

Democrats were more conservative than Republicans nearly 200 years ago. Get over it. Jeez, people who will try and change history to meet their own agenda.

Emeril has more money than God. He will never be broke.

A perfect example of how the Left thinks.

"This one guy has a lot of money, so he can afford what the government is doing to him."

That makes it okay then.

There ya go.

.
No a perfect example of the typical rich Leftytoon like Lagasse is hey I was not supposed to be the one paying for this shit.
