I am thinking this is an intricate false flag operation.

First they claim fake new is a huge problem, it isn't but that is the claim. Using that false claim they then try and claim that obviously only "they" can tell us what isn't fake news. The next step is to put doubt into the system, that it is not controlled by us but by an outside force, the Russians, which isn't true but truth doesn't really factor into the equation. So since our system is under attack then the only answer is to have the federal government in control of all of voting. They talked about Home Land security doing it last election, I think that was just a test to see the reaction. Now the HS or the CIA or some agency will take over control of all the state elections thus they will be able to put whomever they want in office.
