Facts of McCabe’s firing according to CNN article:

1. "Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe late Friday, less than two days shy of his retirement, ending the career of an official who had risen to serve as second-in-command at the bureau."

Trump did not fire McCabe, Jeff Sessions pushed the button after viewing the reports from the OIG and OPR. Both recommended firing after investigations of his work ethics and possible violations of FBI minimum standards.

2, "McCabe said his firing is part of a larger effort to discredit the FBI and the special counsel's investigation."

McCabe is ignoring the elephant in the room. Neither the OPR or OIG had it “out for him.” Again McCabe ignores the fact that there was an investigation uncovering his behaviors in office and revealed those actions demanded firing.

3. "The origin of his dramatic fall stems from an internal review conducted by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz. That report -- the details of which have not been publicly released -- is said to conclude that McCabe misled investigators about his role in directing other officials at the FBI to speak to The Wall Street Journal about his involvement in a public corruption investigation into the Clinton Foundation, according to a source briefed on it."

McCabe knew very well that any FBI agent is summarily discharged when they intentionally mislead the facts of a case. And, it appears he doubled down on his lies by lying under oath. It was well acknowledged that the FBI’s involvement in the Clinton Emails and Clinton Foundation was questionable when Comey came out and agreed that Hillary had met the standards for facing indictment, but the FBI but “she didn’t mean it.” That poor choice for Comey led to his downfall and should have been a warning to McCabe.

4. "CNN reported on Wednesday that the findings in Horowitz's report on McCabe were referred to the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility, staffed with career officials, who recommended McCabe's termination. "

The OPR staffed by career officials recommended McCabes firing. Not Trump " After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department's Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR)," Sessions said in a statement late Friday.

5. "After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department's Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR)," Sessions said in a statement late Friday. "

Sessions went by the book.

6. "The FBI's OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the dismissal of Mr. McCabe. Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor − including under oath − on multiple occasions."

7. Horowitz's office is continuing to investigate how the Justice Department and FBI handled sensitive investigations leading up to the 2016 presidential election -- including the probe into Hillary Clinton's private email server -- and a could prove devastating for former and current top officials at the Justice Department and FBI depending on the findings, …more global report is expected this spring. T

8. "Here is the reality: I am being singled out and treated this way because of the role I played, the actions I took, and the events I witnessed in the aftermath of the firing of James Comey," McCabe said in a statement. "The OIG's focus on me and this report became a part of an unprecedented effort by the Administration, driven by the President himself, to remove me from my position, destroy my reputation, and possibly strip me of a pension that I worked 21 years to earn. The accelerated release of the report, and the punitive actions taken in response, make sense only when viewed through this lens."

McCabe ignores the fact that there were other career FBI agents voting on you ultimate dismissal. He never addresses the lies he told, the leaks and biases. He is not a victim nor innocent of the charges before him. That is proven. Over and done.

Ex-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is fired -- and fires back - CNNPolitics

He should be grateful this hasn't been brought to an indictment,

NOw it's time for the rest. Start with Strozk and Page. Hey where's Old School when he is making judgments on fidelity. Whoops...they were Democrats.

But you are ignoring the new talking point. Trump is attacking the fbi by following the fbi’s recommendations to fire McCabe

It's possible that his pension is the least of his worries. It should be noted that the most notorious traitor in FBI history, active during the Clinton administration, apparently made a deal with the Bush administration after he was arrested that his family receives a pension while he serves life in federal prison.
