Of course I'm serious. If everything is so rosy as you guys are pretending then the public should want to stay the course, not throw your party out of power and replace them with people who won't go along with the president's agenda.

There are more seats in held by Dems up for grabs than there are seats held by Repubs. The populace is pissed off at the entire government for not giving the appearance of getting shit done. That includes the Dems and Repubs.

In races with any competition....the incumbent will be ousted.

In addition...this is a midterm. The turnout will be low. Americans are apathetic....especially regarding midterms. Huge amounts of negative campaigning added in......and people are turned off. That favored Repubs. Low turnout means that only those regular voters with shitloads of free time to study candidates and go vote give a shit. Advantage GOP.

Finally....the DNC hasn't owned the improving economy. Fearing that the slow pace of the recovery would have voters rolling their eyes if they gig on stage and said things were going well.....they completely abandoned the issue. Idiots.

There you have it. It isn't a guess. It isn't my opinion. It just is.

Because most states have Republican leaders and have gerry-mandered the districts to look like jigsaw puzzle pieces in order for Republicans to have the advantage.

Can't do that in general elections, that's why in general elections you'll continue to lose and when we are able to get those district fairly redrawn, you won't be winning mid-term elections either.
