Expand S.C, get rid of E.C, allow illegal immigrants and 16 year olds to vote...ummm, what is this?

All because a non-establishment politician won an election?

I want someone to honestly defend all these positions and say with a straight, "yeah man, these are great ideas. God Bless America!"

It's called a blatant power grab.

Progressives don't believe opposition parties have the right to exist, so they justify any method they can to get power, hold power, and deny any power to the opposition in perpetuity.

1984 got it right with the "fake" book "The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism. "

Let me say it please?
Sounds like something Hitler would do!

Now this thread is complete :D

You forgot ICE and cow farts.

Who in their right mind says, "ICE is a danger, but those illegal immigrants, should be free to reign over America?".

Honestly. I LIKED Bill Clinton, I did. He has some serious problems with his dealings with China, but overall, he was a good Democrat. Obama really turned you guys left. Scary left. Even he though, had some qualities that said "I love America". He just loved the global socialists more.

This new breed? They are outright Marxist, anarchists who simply don't like America, capitalism or anything that made you great. I have to think there is something amiss in your education system, and some deep pocket communists and global socialists who have altered the curriculum. These people are FAR more to the left than even Canada or Ontario.

Nixon supported abolishing the EC in 1969.

Is this nation different then decades ago? Is this nation different then decades before it? Is it different then decades before that? If you are a progressive socialist then what are you biatching about?

There is NO argument for expanding South Carolina. Bad enough it's there at all. Why do you think we have a wall between the Carolinas?

James Madison --- one of the principal authors of the EC --- proposed abolishing the WTA system. He could already see where it was going, in his own lifetime.

There's no argument to be made for it.

...and this means...?

It means it's not a new idea. Check the date. Fifty years. And Nixon was in no way the first to find fault with it.

The Democrats can't win on their ideas, so they are trying to rig the system in their favor.
They've done a pretty good job so far. Why their online brags about voting 30 times apiece back when I first went online in 1996 seem to be what they are indoctrinating young college students, away from their parents for the first time in their lives at not only ivy league schools but state universities whose professors were educated in ivy league Marxist training camps of the 60s 70s 80s and 90s, who are now passing it on to college freshmen everywhere. In 1980, I had the exceptional horror of hearing my Constitutional class professor demeaning a young woman who said she loved and believed in her father's service, who died in Viet Nam when she was four or five years old. He threw her out of his class with me and others looking on. She was back a week later, saying her junior college counsellor informed Professor Stupid he was on shaky grounds for indoctrinating people with hatred for the U.S. Military. He countered by making the class write a paper on how they felt about the Viet Nam War. Anyone who didn't agree with him was docked 10 points on their semester grade. That's the only B I was ever proud of earning, since I made all A's on every test he gave us before and after the incident. I was proud for writing I supported our troops who served in Viet Nam, including the young woman's father who lost his life defending America's war against communism in Viet Nam.

This is a common leftist and Marxist tactic. If they lose by the rules they want to change the rules to favor them.
Add to that their natural antipathy for American constitutionalism and historical norms.
