CDZ Every ten Years or so another "Big One" CA fault Zone is found

Since the Pacific ring of fire is part of the subduction zone. and suduction zone quakes include tsunamis even for not really big ones Like the March, 1964 tsunami that hit Half moon Bay CA. the fault line for that damage was in Alaska. The big one is not predictable and in all likelihood is not yet known. Other than the obvious why should that matter to me that someone else invests without investigating to put themselves at hazard?
