Mostly because there really are not many "leftists" here on this site.

I mean to YOU many here must look like leftists, but that because you still think Obama and Clinton were lefties.

They're no more leftists than IKE or NiXXon were lefties.

The Washington and other party elite dims are in the old rock and a hard place dilemma. They're not stupid. They're very well aware a Republican took the governor's chair away from them in NJ, that Teddy Kennedy's Senate seat went to the opposition, that they got their asses thoroughly kicked across the country last November, and then a minor loss in Nevada last week coupled with the huge embarrassment of losing Weiner's NY house seat is their political landscape.

If it wasn't Barry they foolishly backed and helped get elected they'd already be lining up folks to challenge him for the '12 nomination, but can't do that to a black guy. If they cut his legs off they can kiss the black vote goodby. Add to that defections from disgruntled dims, independents, and brain-dead Republicans who crossed over for him first go-round and it spells defeat. So the only strategery available is to ride their dead horse and continue with the blame game that has thus far backfired virtually every time it's been tested at the ballot box.
