They can't even get decent body armor, parents have to go to pawn shops to get decent body armor for their kids in Iraq. That's fucked up and pathetic. That also says alot about this administration.

We do have the best healthcare system in the world. Problem is, is that it costs money to be the best. I know there are people without insurance, but there are jobs available, some people think that the jobs are beneath them so they would rather live on the system and take free handouts.

1.) Health care for all isn't socialist.

2.) Don't blame the low Life expectancy on the overweight part of America. Plenty of young healthy people and old healthy people die every day when they shouldn't have to and they are skinny. Also, the infancy rate is tied to the fact our doctors are making more mistakes. Teenagers have been having kids forever, back then they use to have kids at 12, so that's not the reason.

We don't have the best healthcare in the world. 47 million people in this country have no healthcare.

They export their patients? How many American seniors go to Canada and Mexico to buy their prescriptions?

No, our healthcare system is bloated, expensive, and inefficient and about to fail. We spend twice per capita what other Western countries pay for healthcare, almost 16% of our GDP. Soon it will be 20%. Between that, the war in Iraq, our dependence on foreign oil, and Bush's deficit, we will be bankrupt soon. And it will all be your fault for voting Republican.

They go to Canada and Mexico to buy their prescriptions because they're cheaper, or because they can get them without a prescription at all, and buy in bulk.

Canadians come here rather than wait for months to be treated at home. I've not heard of any American going to Canada for TREATMENT.

We already have universal healthcare, but a terrible version of it. We wait until people are near death to treat them at the state's expense. The other Western countries are smarter than us. They use a single payer system and that is more efficient. It is not socialism. The doctors still own their practices and people can go to any doctor they wish. The government just acts as the insurance company, so you don't have 150 different companies all with their own administration.
