No. It is just one of my favorite examples to illustrate the slippery slope fallacy.

I meant that law is stupid. Alcohol and nicotine are known to be physically addictive. THC had never been demonstrated to be physically addictive in any of the studies on the matter. Alcohol poisoning is common while it currently remains effectively impossible to overdose on THC.

Each public policy will be considered on its own individual merits.
