ENOUGH....Time for Gun Control....NOW

These shootings always happen in the places where the people are the most liberal.

In 2008, when the United States experienced over 12,000* gun-related homicides, Japan had only 11, or fewer than half as many killed Friday in Newtown, Conn.""""""

Population of Japan, 129,000,000.

In 2006, Japan had 32,115 suicides.

So we're stooping to false equivalencies?

Has anyone's suicide ever directly caused another person's death or wounding, permanent physical maiming or hospitalization? You know.....like a bullet?

Gee, G, you disappoint me.

Sorry, children. It's time to make it harder to get your shiny, dangerous toys. Too many loonies out there. Every week now.

The "GOOD GUY WITH A GUN" at Walmart ended up in the hospital in Las Vegas. SO there goes that Wayne LaPierre bullshit myth.

Drug deaths far outpace gun deaths and yet you leftist twits are all in on drug legalization.

You make no motherfuckingsense whatsoever.

(CNN) -- Injuries have been reported in a Tuesday morning shooting at a high school near Portland, Oregon, a police representative said.
The shooting happened at about 8 a.m. PT at Reynolds High School in Troutdale, about 12 miles east of Portland, said Sue Strickland of the Troutdale Police Department.

Classes were in session at the time, Strickland said. It wasn't clear how many people were injured, and details about what led to the shooting weren't immediately available.
A couple of SWAT teams responded, Strickland said.

CNN first learned of the shooting through reports on Twitter.

Need to make sure each gun comes with a form of liability insurance so whoever this guy/gal harms can be compensated.

I don't know any details on this latest "active shooter" yet, having just heard about it in this thread that supplies none.

But how many of the last twenty or thirty shooters, would have been stopped by the laws this gun-hater is demanding, when they weren't stopped by the laws we already have?

It seems that the gun-haters will never get it through their heads, that their laws only affect law-abiding people.... the people who aren't causing the problems in the first place.

So then why is murder illegal? Why is drug trafficking illegal? Why is ANYTHING illegal?

Obviously the laws wouldn't stop every shooting. Even in the countries with the strictest policies, shootings still happen. However, how would limiting the availability to ANYONE hurt? Sans military-issued artillery.

Its an example of the differences in culture that play far more of a role than the availability of firearms. Its something you cannot grasp because you are useless pus sucking troll asshole.

When junkies start loading up 30 syringes into a magazine and going to school and shooting them into people from 30-60 feet; your asinine comparison may hold water. Until then STFU.

So still no clear explanation how passing laws keeping guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens helps stop violent people from massacring others.

And there never will be.

Wrong, oh civic's test "whizzz". If you read any state's gun laws statutes, start with Connecticut and note the repetitive use of the phrase "with the exception of", you will understand why gun laws don't work.

The laws are heavily skewed towards exemptions which are imposed by outside influence to the point they are completely neutralized.

The majority of people OD on over-the-country, prescription drugs. You would have to consume between 20,000-40,000 times the amount of THC in a joint to die.

Seattle and Portland, the two latest school shootings, are filled to the brim with libs.

Yea but right wing nuts are all around us. And where else would a right wing nut go nuts other than a liberal place? Why so angry?

Anyways, this issue confirms my belief that unless it's someone you know, life is not that precious. So don't cry about abortion. No one cares when people die. I feel bad for people who get shot but since no one is going to do anything about it then I guess life really isn't that precious now is it?

Imagine if all those suicidal Japanese people had AR-15's

Bullshit.

In Los Angeles, a kid sees a movie, reads a book, or plays a video game where violence is involved, gets up, goes to the local sporting goods store, buys a gun (or takes one his parents have) and uses it thinking the result will be just like the movie, book or video game.

In London, a kid sees the same movie, reads the same book or plays the same video game where violence is involved, gets up and goes out side totally unarmed because he cannot buy a gun and his parent's couldn't either without incredibly close scrutiny.
