Well, the proverbial chickens have come home to roost......Right wing politicians were (to a large extent, including Trump) elected on the promise that the A.C.A. was going to be immediately repealed (and supposedly, replaced) once republicans got into office.

Never mind that for the last 6 years republicans in congress have had ample opportunity to devise an alternative to the ACA, now they are asking for a "few months" to further study what the replacement of the HC Act should look like.

Democrats, on the other hand, openly admitting that the Act could use some tweaking, are now almost "encouraging" republicans to stand by their vow to repeal the A.C.A. as promised, knowing full well that to have 20 million American suddenly lose their coverage is suicidal.

In the midst of crappy politics, no doubt it will be common Americans to feel the pain....and many of them will be the same right wing voters who trusted the Trumpster's common refrain of "believe me."

Thousands of pages of fascist legislation needs "tweaking?"
Well that's one way to put it..

Do you have a link Nat?

What the hell does the left want? Everyone admits that the ironically named ACA is a failure but now the left seems to be whining that republicans can't fix it soon enough.

defend this...

The so-called REPLACEMENT will either look almost exactly like Obamacare with a different name (of course) ...OR it will cause such anger among those who will lose coverage that there may be riots in D.C.

Kill the mandate. Have an opt in or opt out option. That said, the republicans are spineless and will not do a damn thing.
