GAZA, (PIC)-- The Egyptian authorities have announced the opening of the Rafah crossing for those stranded at the crossing and for humanitarian cases only hours after a call by Sheikh Yusuf al-Qardawi for opening the border crossing.
Informed sources told PIC that the partial opening is a prelude to the full opening of the crossing after intensive communications between the government in Gaza with Egyptian officials who stressed they want to see an end to the siege on Gaza and to make the movement of Palestinians in and out of the Gaza Strip easier.
