What was the dumbest thing you ever did to impress a girl/boy?

Me.... I forgot to fill up my car (because I didn't have enough money for gas AND a date).... we got stuck in the middle of a bridge, fortuantely, we got a ride to a telephone and called our parents to pick us up..... yes, the good old days when I was both young and foolish.... needless to say, I never got to go out with her again!

I used to tell girls I was in a band (before I was actually in one), because telling girls you were in the Army was a sure way to get shot down. Unfortunately, the couple of times that piqued a girl's attention, I never could figure out what to tell them about what kind of "band" I was in!
