That is an absolute disgrace to those wearing the uniform in service of our country. The mere threat to block and withhold earned promotions to further a political narrative is nothing more than a direct violation of trust.
As for Vindman, he knowingly violated not only the chain of command but crossed the line between military service and politics. He was proven to be a liar and should have been demoted and dishonorably discharged. Politics and military service do not and never have mixed well and not be tolerated.
