When did Obama take office?

Jan 20th 2009. First inauguration of Barack Obama - Wikipedia

How could this article prove your point?

It can't.

Here's another: Presidential News Conferences
They called them news conferences, but most of them were just Obama reading a statement and then him leaving....

 You keep moving the goal posts dude...
So president Trump has to start acting like who to win your support, Hillary? Bernie? Good luck with that.

He needs to start acting like a President.

That's all.

We are still waiting for an example? Should he lie to the American people about keeping their doctors and health insurance plans or sexually abuse interns in the White House like the last 2 Dem presidents?

Squirrel!

I accept your surrender, you have no answer and no example at least not any recent Dem presidents. Who's next on the list Carter
Declaring victory, - the sure sign of having nothing.

:itsok:

I don't give a flying fuck about the Orange One's electoral victory, ass wipe! It's his destruction of my beloved Country that's at stake you fucking partisan hack ass licking TROLL!

Over 60 million American citizens voted Trump president, 30 states chose him over Hillary. Your singular opinion really doesn't matter sorry to burst your bubble.
The election was almost seven(7) months ago, shit for brains. The Orange One's electoral support among the voters then came in second <2nd> to the leading vote getter. Since then, that support has been shrinking.

The rats are leaving the ship owing to buyers remorse you dummy! What happened 7 months ago is just history and not relevant to the Ego-in-Chief's dwindling base. His Glory Days are over, and it's a ways down that slope he's on! Stick your head in the sand if you want, foolish Troll!

Your pain and suffering over the Trump presidency has only just begun, he's not even 6 months into his 4 year term.
The country is laughing at Trump, and the pain and suffering will continue to be his as he keeps whimpering, "When is the Winning going to start?"
I think people in other countries may find him amusing. The only thing amusing to me is how he shits on his voters and how they cling to his shit like it was gold.

:itsok:

...so why would the President's communications director want to manage the President's actions to please those who will always hate him at the expense of those who support him?
Gosh, numb nuts, maybe because he's supposed to be the President of ALL AMERICANS? Why just keep the 24% minority supporting his Orange Ass blissfully charmed by his stupidity instead of REPRESENTING the overwhelming and long term interests of 100% of his constituency?

More bad polling data? When will you libs learn?

When will you Trump sycophants learn? When Fox News' poll also gives Trump bad poll numbers, you know you are in trouble.

They're fleeing the sinking ship.

Dubke resigns as White House communications director

Mike Dubke has resigned as White House communications director in the first of what could be a series of changes to President Trump's senior staff amid the growing Russia scandal.

Dubke, who served in the post for three months, tendered his resignation May 18. He offered to stay on to help manage communications in Washington during Trump's foreign trip, and the president accepted.

If he couldn't keep up with the President, it was the right thing to do. Trump ran on an ambitious agenda of change, not just in what the government would do, but also in how the government would do it, and some people who might have fit well into a less ambitious administration, are just not fit to serve in this one.
Trump is not fit to serve if he cannot commit to and operate within a communications strategy and directive.

Morning tweets sitting on the bathroom throne would drive any of us crazy trying to manage that nonsense.
So you think the President is there to serve the needs his staff rather than his staff being there to serve his needs. His core supporters love his tweets, but his critics hate them and everything else he does, so why would the President's communications director want to manage the President's actions to please those who will always hate him at the expense of those who support him?

That's the point. They try and Trump undermines every attempt they make to protect him. This is how it goes;

1. Trump Tweets something moronic
2. Spinmeisters go on TV and do the "What he meant to say was..."
3. Trump goes on TV and says the exact opposite of his "staff's" spin....leaving them spinning.

They're tired of being thrown under the bus.
the job is to support the President and if they are not up to the job, it is appropriate for them to look for other work.

The President's tweets help to keep his core supporters enthusiastic about him, and it was that enthusiasm that defeated Clinton's lauded "ground game" during the election, and this is the reason why you object to them so strongly: they work.

They don't work. Trump's tweets have a approval rating of around 20%.

I must have missed the link to this poll.

Of course they work to keep enthusiasm high among his core supporters, and that's why you dislike them so much, and they have the added benefit of capturing much of the next day's news cycle.
