Dubke resigns as White House communications director

Mike Dubke has resigned as White House communications director in the first of what could be a series of changes to President Trump's senior staff amid the growing Russia scandal.

Dubke, who served in the post for three months, tendered his resignation May 18. He offered to stay on to help manage communications in Washington during Trump's foreign trip, and the president accepted.

If he couldn't keep up with the President, it was the right thing to do. Trump ran on an ambitious agenda of change, not just in what the government would do, but also in how the government would do it, and some people who might have fit well into a less ambitious administration, are just not fit to serve in this one.
Trump is not fit to serve if he cannot commit to and operate within a communications strategy and directive.

Morning tweets sitting on the bathroom throne would drive any of us crazy trying to manage that nonsense.
So quit doing it then..
I don't tweet, etc., but you seem to understand the dynamics of Trump on the throne.

...so why would the President's communications director want to manage the President's actions to please those who will always hate him at the expense of those who support him?
Gosh, numb nuts, maybe because he's supposed to be the President of ALL AMERICANS? Why just keep the 24% minority supporting his Orange Ass blissfully charmed by his stupidity instead of REPRESENTING the overwhelming and long term interests of 100% of his constituency?

Trump won get over it, elections have consequences Obama said so. Tissue?

The fact is that the problem is Donald Trump not his communications team. His communications team had this story where Comey was fired because of the No 2 person at the Justice Department's recommendation then Trump admitted he was the one who fired Comey.

The fact is that he did not run on a ambitious agenda of change. He has no ideas to speak of and cannot articulate them. He doesn't care what is in a Republican healthcare bill as long as he can sign something and talk about how great he is.
There are two issues here. First, it is true that the President intended to fire Comey before Rosenstein recommended it but fired him at that time because of the Rosenstein letter, which largely echoed Democratic complaints about how Comey had handled the Clinton email scandals, in the belief the Democrats would agree Comey had to go for that reason, but after bellowing about how Comey had delivered the presidency to Trump by these actions, suddenly, cynically, decided how Comey had behaved during the election was no longer important and Comey was their hero. The lesson to be learned here is, never trust anything the Democrats say, because if they think they smell political blood, they'll say the exact opposite the next minute without even blushing.

Your second point that the President has no agenda or ideas indicates you are simply not capable of hearing anything he has said.
The above demonstrates you don't get it anybody than the communications director. That's forgivable (an example is your post above) that you cannot explain logically what Trump is doing.

So you think the President is there to serve the needs his staff rather than his staff being there to serve his needs. His core supporters love his tweets, but his critics hate them and everything else he does, so why would the President's communications director want to manage the President's actions to please those who will always hate him at the expense of those who support him?

That's the point. They try and Trump undermines every attempt they make to protect him. This is how it goes;

1. Trump Tweets something moronic
2. Spinmeisters go on TV and do the "What he meant to say was..."
3. Trump goes on TV and says the exact opposite of his "staff's" spin....leaving them spinning.

They're tired of being thrown under the bus.
So true. They, as professionals, try to do their job, and Trump simply screws them over.

the job is to support the President and if they are not up to the job, it is appropriate for them to look for other work.

The President's tweets help to keep his core supporters enthusiastic about him, and it was that enthusiasm that defeated Clinton's lauded "ground game" during the election, and this is the reason why you object to them so strongly: they work.

Any communication role in the White House is going to be a revolving door. How can you effectively go out and tell the press that your boss fired the Director of the FBI because of his treatment of Hillary Clinton and had nothing to do with the Russia investigation, one day and then have your boss tell the media it was because of the Russia thing, the next day, while maintaining creditability.

Sean Spicer was a very respected man when he went to work for Trump. Now his reputation is destroyed, and he'll be hard pressed to salvage a career by the time he leaves/is fired.

The media isn't the one giving us "fake news". It's Trump and his staff who say one thing one day and the opposite of it the next. Which story is true. If the leaks are "fake news", how can you prosecute the leakers?

If the leaks are false, why are your allies upset about the leaks?

Trump sent a budget to Congress which cuts $800 billion from Medicaid. His communication staff is supposed to sell this budget to the people. On Monday he tweeted that he should just increase the amount spent on healthcare to restore US healthcare to #1 in the world. Which one will he do? What should his staff now be saying.

You have to have coherent policy and a boss who doesn't tell lies to have a coherent and respected communications staff. Trump's staff has neither.

Since when is increasing Medicaid have anything to do with restoring US healthcare to # 1? There's an oxymoron for you!

Medicaid sucks!

Tissue?
Yeah, but why does Trump keep saying "when does the winning start?" He has found out that winning has consequences, and that he is why he has stumbled out of the gate and floundered every since.

You haven't corrected Jack Squat, dickhead.

You seem to have some specific knowledge of tweeting/texting on the shitter by Trump. Something you have zero evidence of. So I feel I have to correct you on the subject. Unless you're watching him on some video cam, to which I think would make you a friggen peeping-Tom. Either that or you do it yourself, which makes you a damned hypocrite.
As much time as you spend here posting you must do it or you just hold your mud all friggen day.

He needs to not add 9MILLION$$$ to the deficit. He needs to fund the rebuilding of our infrastructure with increased gasoline user taxes will gas per gallon is still low (that 1MILLION$$$ jumpstart to the economy could put us into 4.0 plus GDP). He needs to understand that he has won, get over that half the country does not and will not like him, and govern for the good of all. He needs to let his professionals do their jobs without micromanagement.

If he is not involved in a RussiaGate coverup, he must throw everyone who may be under the bus and give Congress whatever they ask for.

;) Yup, you are confused, as usual. I am saying, my little cross speaker, that Trump needs to start governing and stop hollering. You must know something about peeping toms from what you write, because I don't know thing. An effective manager who is a good leader as well must delegate then step back. There is no sense of community in the WH, mudwhistle. It's a cage of gerbils running wild.
