Venezuela has a historic record of being horrible for the poor, when the old Venezuelan government was in power, the poor got nothing from the oil profits.. It's why Hugo won the people, unfortunately, oil prices don't always cooperate... You do realize almost every single country has a mix of socialism? Hell, if Bernie got even half of his things passed, we wouldn't even be close to most of Europe.. Keep it up.

When did I say socialism sucks? We need a mix of socialism and capitalism, hell, every country does this in some way, apart from dictatorships. Everything requires taxes these days, sorry you hate that. We spend more on healthcare then almost every other country and aren't even universal.. We could save social security by raising the cap.. All of these socialist proposals have a basis in reality, moron. Yes, the debt spirals thanks to a ridiculous war, it's almost impossible to stop, we need to control it, a good way to do this is progressive taxation/cutting military spending/switching to a better healthcare system..
