What a fucking loser.
But, we can count on the easily fooled to come to his defense.

The Trump administration is scrambling to defend the president’s characterization of his communications with grieving military families, including rush-delivering letters from the president to the families of servicemembers killed months ago.
Timothy Eckels Sr. hadn’t heard anything from President Trump since his son Timothy Eckels Jr. was killedafter a collision involving the USS John S. McCain on August 21. But then, on October 20, two days into the controversy over the president’s handling of a condolence call with an American soldier’s widow, Eckels Sr. received a United Parcel Service package dated October 18 with a letter from the White House.

In the past week, The Atlantic made contact with 12 families who had been identified as having lost kin serving in the military since January. Along with those contacted by other news outlets like the Washington Post and the Associated Press, about 25 of the 46 families have been reached. Of those 25, a plurality—11 families—said they had received neither a call nor a letter from the president. Nine confirmed that they had received personal calls from the president. Members of four families said they had received a letter, but no call. And members of the remaining family were contacted by the White House, but declined to meet with the president.

If Trump walked on water the headline would be that he was trying to undermine the boat building industry.

He doesn't have to do a damn thing. The issue here is that Trump's handling of the whole thing is ridiculous. He doesn't know whether he's coming or going and when he faces criticism for stuff he then tries to hide the fact that he hadn't done it in the first place.

While these sailors died, they did not die in combat. Any call or letter received form the President should be appreciated.

You liberals just can't let go of the hate, even when you know you are wrong.

No, they didn't die in combat.

Now, either the president has a policy of sending letters to every service member who dies, or he doesn't. That's neither here nor there.

What has happened though is that Trump didn't do anything. Then when he felt that he was being criticized for something, suddenly he does something to try and cover his back, and makes himself look worse. That's the point here.

I don't see how you think I'm wrong here.

You know, the vast majority of military folk don't get much more then that along with instructions on dealing with the remains. That y'all are spooging in y'alls own faces over this is just weird.

Just the facts. Trump has been derelict in his duties as Commander in Chief and President in regards to notification of families of fallen soldiers. The White House staff in incompetent. The Presidents Chief of Staff, Gen. Kelly has been caught and exposed as a malicious liar. Those are the facts.
