O man, I despise the odious toad.

"The United States has become a whipping post for the rest of the world... a laughing stock." was just one of his little bon mots.

Fuck you. Having a POTUS who is a moral vacuum tube of a schlub with a little old man comb-over would hardly enhance our standing.

"I think he's (Ron Paul) a good guy but he has just zero chance of being elected."

Fuck you, you raging meglomaniac. The GOP faithful will choose who is on the ticket. And if my only two choices were either you or Paul, I'd emigrate to Canada.

As for the GLBT Republicans in GOProud who invited Trump: love ya guys, but Jesus H. Christ!

He is going to add a lot to the campaigns. Too much baggage to be elected, but he has done it all in business, and he will keep both sides on their toes during the campaigns.

I think he has zero chance of getting elected, but I'm glad he's joining the fight. He will pull back a lot of curtains, and his presence will help define the real candidates. Love him or hate him, there is no middle ground on any issue with him. He's clear as day, and he only has two speeds. No one is going to hide their agenda in a debate with him, and if they try, he will eat them alive and toss them on the pile of "also-rans."

He'll definitely make it interesting, but I think even he knows he doesn't have a shot at being elected, and likely doesn't actually want to be.

I think the sentiment on Trump is probably 50/50 at best, most likely more hate him than like him. That said, he's got a ton of experience that will legitimize the campaign process.

And I'd say the overwhelming majority of Americans have no idea who the Koch brothers are, or what they are about.

Yep. And that's part of his experience that will add a lot to the debate as well. I like Trump's "in your face" and "nothing to hide" attitude, but there is no way in hell I want him representing the US.

We would be attacking and being attacked every day of the week!

That said, throwing him into a "family argument" like a presidential campaign seems like a brilliant idea to me.

As long as he doesn't win :)

Trump was right about one thing, we have become a laughing stock around the world.

You can thank the Obama and his clownish Comrades in Arms for that one.

And Trump has as much RIGHT TO SPEAK as the next person.

    but hate on.

Between Trump imitating Ross Periot and Sarah Palin imitating Joe McCarthy, the 2012 elections are beginning to seem like a mere formality.

Obama must be thrilled at the death match GOPers are setting up among themselves.
