Does Obama have a "real" jobs plan or just more govt spending?

Is Obamas plan for jobs going to be.....

I can't believe that he hasn't released the details of his plan to the public. If he really had a legit plan wouldn't he want it known now so the public has time to put pressure on their congressmen while they are home visiting the people they represent?

On the contrary, I don't think his plan is anything more than stimulus and taxes. Neither of which will work any better than his last failed stimulus. This man is completely clueless.

I think the underlying problem is that he's never worked in the private sector, and has no idea how the private sector even works.

We need to get companies hiring again, but right now, they are afraid to. It's just a lot easier to dump more work on the employees they have now, who will happily stress themselves out because they are just damned happy to have jobs.

All this poll provides is how much this board is slanted to the right. And how ignorant they are. I am a liberal and I wouldn't accuse Bush of not having a plan.

I feel that the jobs created by this administration will be those in the construction industry of some sort. How many men AND women are part of that industry?
This isn't going to pass my litmus test...I just know it.

Wasn't that supposed to be done with the 787 billion dollar stimulus plan? Remember, those shovel ready jobs?? That's construction-- and even he admitted that those shovel ready jobs weren't so shovel ready. He won't do anything but give another speech on raising taxes, , blaming corporate jet owners, blaming Bush, blaming the GOP, pointing his finger at everyone except himself and his socialist policies and agenda. He's a total and complete flop.

Bush isn't the president.
Obama is the president. And not only does he not have a plan, he doesn't have a clue.

He is just a pawn of the system, and would fight to maintain the status quo to his last breath. Even if an asteroid was heading for Washington, he would say everything was going well.

Well, the difference is, bush would have actually provided a plan.

I personally think that his plan to privatize social security would have been a disaster. But he provided A PLAN. And that plan was debated and rejected.

We are three years into this recession now. NOW Obama's coming up with a plan? Really? Where was he a year ago? Two years ago?

It reminds me of the old Catholic Joke. A man runs into the Pope's office and says, "Holiness, Jesus has returned. The Lord is riding through St. Peter's Square on a donkey!"

The pope replies, "Quick, everyone look busy!"

From what I can see so far, it looks like more of the same: "Let me spend more now, on the promise that I'll make cuts later".

How many times have the Dems pulled THAT one and not delivered?

Has he said what day he is going to make public his plan?

Hurricane Irene has interrupted his planning sessions. He will have to get back to us at some point in the future. Most likely sometime after November 6, 2012. He has many other important duties to attend to. Those of us who want jobs and a better economy are just going to have to wait for the time being. Have patience.
