Laura Ingraham: Obama Presidency Is 'Finished'
Tuesday, 21 Oct 2014 11:20 AM

By Wanda Carruthers

Laura Ingraham Obama Presidency Is Finished

Oh, well, if Laura Ingram says so ..... :dunno:

No, you stupid fool.

You are supposed to use the various unrelated bits of evidence to assemble the hidden puzzle and draw reasonable conclusions from it.

You are looking at this as just one person saying it's over for the Obama presidency.

It is universal.

Obama's presidency is OVER.

He has crashed.

Now we must see to it he doesn't leave behind a "scorched Earth policy."

Swift impeachment and removal from office is our best short term hope before he can really screw us on his way down and out.

I'd say the same thing were I you.

Chill.

I'm a Black racist, if a racist at all.

Yes, partisan ideologues on both ends call me a "phony" pretty much every day, which I consider a very good sign.

Straw man #1: I have never claimed to be non-partisan. I'm an independent, that's it.

Straw man #2: I have never said that "Bush caused the global meltdown". It, however, was happening when he left office. Fact.

If the thing you have to point to about the Bush years is political, I think my point is made. Not much to crow about.
I called you phony because you're a phony, not because of any particular ideology. It doesn't get any more partisan than:
"Without Bush's horrific escapades in the Middle East and a global financial meltdown, we wouldn't be here discussing this?"

EXACTLY what do you miss?

Losing almost a million jobs every month?

More than 40 THOUSAND factories closed?

5000 dead Americans in his illegal wars?

Hundreds of thousands of maimed innocents?

Billions in debt?

The Patriot Act?

Illegal spying on Americans?

The constant lies and glabal embarrassment every time that idiot opened his mouth?

The list is endless but you already know that.

Please - what do you miss?

No, don't try to make it about Obama.Don't change the subject to Obama.

YOU said you miss Bush. Now have the balls tell us EXACTLY what you miss about BUSH. Tell us EXACTLY what Bush did that was so great.

Now to answer your "YOU said you miss Bush. Now have the balls tell us EXACTLY what you miss about BUSH. Tell us EXACTLY what Bush did that was so great."
Bush will with historical inspection over time be considered one of the GREAT presidents because the FACTS are NO other President in history every faced cataclysmic events during one administration as Bush did.
1) Do YOU agree a recession started under Clinton and became official 3/01 ended 11/01?
Source: USATODAY.com - It s official 2001 recession only lasted eight months

2) Do YOU agree that the dot.com bust occurred and cost $5 trillion in losses?
According to the Los Angeles Times, when the dot-com bubble burst, it wiped out $5 trillion dollars in market value for tech companies. More than half of the Internet companies created since 1995 were gone by 2004 - and hundreds of thousands of skilled technology workers were out of jobs.
Source: The dot-com bubble How to lose 5 trillion 8211 Anderson Cooper 360 - CNN.com Blogs

3) Hard to believe but people forget that 9/11 cost $2 trillion in lost businesses, market values assets.
Jobs lost in New York owing to the attacks: 146,100 JUST in New York.
Year 2001: September 11 Terrorist Attacks
The 9/11 terrorist attacks were the events that helped shape other financial events of the decade. After that terrible day in September 2001, our economic climate was never to be the same again. It was only the third time in history that the New York Stock Exchange was shut down for a period of time. In this case, it was closed from September 10 - 17. Besides the tragic human loss of that day, the economic loss cannot even be estimated. Some estimate that there was over $60 billion in insurance losses alone.
Approximately 18,000 small businesses were either displaced or destroyed in Lower Manhattan after the Twin Towers fell. There was a buildup in homeland security on all levels. 9/11 caused a catastrophic financial loss for the U.S.
Source: The Top 10 Financial Events of the Decade

4) $1 trillion in written off losses due to the WORST Hurricane SEASONS in history.
The worst Katrina made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 3 in 2005. It took 1,836 lives and caused $81.2 billion in damages. Andrew slammed into South Florida in 1992 as a Category 5. It caused 40 deaths and $30 billion in property damage. More than 250,000 people were left homeless and 82,000 businesses were destroyed or damaged.
Hurricane Katrina ALONE! Year 2005: Hurricanes Katrina and Rita
On August 25, 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of the U.S. as a strong Category 3 or low Category 4 storm. It quickly became the biggest natural disaster in U.S. history, almost destroying New Orleans due to severe flooding.
The Top 10 Financial Events of the Decade

THESE events OCCURRED!
YET in SPITE of
a) 400,000 jobs due to Hurricanes Katrina/Rita ,
b) 2,800,000 jobs in alone due to 9/11,
c) 300,000 jobs lost due to dot.com busts...
In spite of nearly $8 trillion in lost businesses, market values, destroyed property.. IN SPITE of that:

http://www.citizen.org/documents/Historical_employment_data.pdf

AND guess what??? During this time NOT ONCE did Bush EVER denigrate the US military such as Obama did when running for President Obama called our military as "methodically air raiding villages killing civilians"!
NEVER ONCE did you hear Bush say he wanted higher gas prices, or businesses to go bankrupt!
Instead Bush was a UNITER with the highest approval rating of any President since keeping the records of 90%
Presidential Approval Ratings Gallup Historical Statistics and Trends
View attachment 33162

So, you're basically saying Bush is great because he suffered 9/11 and everyone thought he was doing a great job. Doing what?

Denigrate the military? Pointing out Bush's policies is denigrating the military?

Hmm, so Obama sends out drones instead of soldiers and the Republicans criticise, this is denigrating the military then?

I pointed out as historians will do that IN SPITE of not only 9/11 but the recession, the dot.com bust that cost $5 trillion plus 400,000 jobs and then we had the WORST hurricane SEASONS... not just one hurricane but 6 of the top ten worst hurricanes!
10 Costliest Catastrophes in the U.S. - Slide Show-Kiplinger
10. Hurricane Rita 2005
8. Hurricane Ivan 2004
7. Hurricane Charley 2004
6. Hurricane Wilma 2005
5. Hurricane Ike 2008
1. Hurricane Katrina 2005...

There were deaths, $1 trillion in losses and again NOT ONE president has ever had that happen.
Coupled with 9/11 again historians will say Bush not only helped the country SURVIVE these events but we thrived!
GWB had the Largest Gross Domestic Product in history!!
When Bush took office in 2001 GDP was $12.355,271,000,000
when Bush left office in 2008 GDP was $14,359,490,000,000
A 16% increase in GDP or $2 TRILLION.

So with these FACTS alone and NOT your wild exaggerated GUESSES I am 100% confident Bush will be considered a GREAT President that in spite of these 4 gigantic events occurring he kept the USA stable. Kept the economy going. Kept people working and obviously all the while NOT opening his mouth ONE time in complaining about our military killing civilians as Obama has done. Or calling police stupid. Or playing golf minutes after a beheading! These are the FACTs and you can NOT refute any of them.

The only difference between Bush the youngerererer and Obama is that Obama has darker skin and talks purdier. If you were more observant you would have noticed that, rather than letting partisan party blinders restrict your vision.

Bush and Obama both are part of the reason why America is no longer close to what it was SUPPOSED to be like...a Constitutional Republic where free citizens are all assumed to be responsible and law-abiding until their actions prove otherwise, rather than as potential terrorists and criminals until proven otherwise.

Do you miss W like I do?

I was sent this email.

And the kind of leadership Republicans will deliver when we win a Senate majority. We have less than two weeks to get it done. And you can help us today by ordering your limited-edition, American-made I Miss W. T-Shirt from the GOP.
President George W. Bush once said, "I will live and lead by these principles: to advance my convictions with civility, to pursue the public interest with courage, to speak for greater justice and compassion, to call for responsibility and try to live it as well."
That’s what America needs right now: a big dose of leadership. The kind of principled conservative leadership President Bush provided our great nation.

through a series of international and domestic incidents the first POTUS of the new century was forced to play the cards he was dealt.

The fact that we are all here (This assumption is debatable in and of itself.) to discuss the matter is proof of Georgie's success.

As Kenny Rogers said, " the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep."

We weren't guaranteed things would even be THIS kind of 'normal' (in the realm of normalcy...a normative coma brought on or brought about -- intentionally or not is of no matter -- by Barack Hussein Eboma).

A global Holy War triggered by Saddam & Israel & the Arabs & Jihadi warriors from around the world & Russia & China could have fried your circuits, mac.

Oh, yeah, Saddam and Israel started it all, hmmm......

Dispute it with facts and/or reason, not your equivalent of rolled eyes.

So please explain why i'm supposed to be different to everyone else on this board.

Because you will LOOK better if you do.

And we all know how much importance liberals and Progressives place on appearances.

Right?

You know how often I back stuff up, make a decent argument with sources only to see the moron on the other end make a one or two line sentence with a couple of insults and the inability to respond?

Too many.

Fixed that fer ya.

You try to insinuate you are knowledgable and that people should listen to your political opinions when you won't even read a thread with the answers you say you want me to supply.

Well, I already have.

Just read what's there and see if you can figure it out.

I wrote it with the expectation you'd be able to follow along.

And I have either misunderestimated you or you just won't read.

Liberals are often persistently ignorant.

That's the main problem I have with them.

They won't read or study THE THINGS WE DISCUSS HERE. Then when someone who DOES read and study tries to educate them they revert back to their default position.

Ignorance.

And not just ignorance, but DEFIANT ignorance!

They dispute your facts with just bullshit and won't even bother to inform themselves of the truth.

Actually, we had a functional government that worked in a bi-partisan environment and had a strong economy where just about everyone prospered. We sure didn't see same prosperity under "W" and of course it has been even worse under Obama.
Clinton left office with a 66% approval rating. The last time "W" saw anything like that was in May 2003.
Clinton's average approval rating was 55.1%, where as "W" was 49.4.
The most recent polling done by Gallup (6/15) on our former presidents "W" and Clinton show Bush at 53% and Clinton at 64% .
The people have spoken.
Of course we all know Obama is floundering and I am totally discounting him at this point.
I also want to point out, I never voted for Clinton (I didn't like his morals) and actually did campaign work for George HW and Bob Dole. I previously voted for Reagan.
So, when it gets down to reality, you're simple a hyper-partisan so your opinion is shewed and isn't objective at all. On the other hand, I have voted for three Republicans for president, one Democrat, one independent and the last election I wrote-in moderate Republican Jon Huntsman. That's called being pragmatic and objective.

but now that the facts are slowly coming out we see that W did far more for you and i than you want to give him credit for.

Very niggardly with your willingness to pay a man his due credit, don't you think?

  1. 1.
    not generous; stingy.
"serving out the rations with a niggardly hand"
When a president gets to 19%, it's NOT due to the public's lack of information.

Now you're just being ridiculous. Face it, Bush owns the lowest job approval rating in the history of job approval ratings. And he did so the old fashioned way -- he earned it.

AGAIN where are YOUR FACTS regarding lowest???

HERE ARE FACTS OK...

Presidential Approval Ratings Gallup Historical Statistics and Trends
NOTE: Democrat Truman Lowest approval 22% Nixon 24% Bush 25%

Please TELL ME who was the Lowest? Truman... then Nixon...
Bush WAS NOT the LOWEST!!!

Gallup isn't the only pollster, you sycophant.

Do I miss W?

Why would I miss a guy who lost guns in Mexico, had several Americans killed in attacks on our diplomatic missions, spied on tens of millions of Americans without warrants, tortured prisoners, created an entirely unfunded new medical entitlement social welfare program, helped double the national debt, started three wars, treated the Constitution like toilet paper, circumvented Congress, imprisoned American citizens without a writ of habeas corpus, harassed and spied on reporters, had several corruption scandals in his Administration, took a bunch of vacations, created a new Cabinet department with abusive police powers, and laid the groundwork for the greatest financial crash since the Great Depression?

What person in their right mind would miss that guy? Serious question.

Read my posts in this thread. that's all I ask anyone here to do.

If you still hate him, so be it.

:)
Bush had achieved what no other president could ... a job approval rating of just 19%. What else is there to read?

And I hear you shit your drawers last year. But you still walk around with your head up.

Good for you!

Not every day is as bad as that one.

And not every W poll was as full of unthinking people's opinions as that one.

:)
Sadly for you, insults don't wash away Bush's abysmal record. And it wasn't just one poll. He achieved that unprecedented job rating 3 times. It wasn't an anomaly.

Do you need me to validate your every seminal thought?

Whatever is, IS.

And what IS in this case is that W saved the world from a great crisis or three and only paid the relatively lesser sum of what the statistics show.

Sometimes the POTUS can't reveal to the public what he is doing for us behind the scenes.

That's why we need someone in office we can TRUST!

The ones who really have no trust of Bush are those who are silly and ignorant to begin with (by virtue of either: their own efforts or their liberal hardwiring) or they have been brainwashed by the Liberal media to mistrust him..

He never did anything to benefit himself politically or personally, at the expense of the American people, while in office.

That is what Democrat Presidents do.
