Do road projects create jobs?

LMAO! That is because California supports your Welfare ass State. We pay 35 cents on the dollar of your taxes for you Losers.

Dude....you just called South Carolina a "welfare state"? You know this is probably the state with the LEAST social welfare opportunities in America, right? You've obviously studied and visit SC very little haha.

For every USD your state pays in federal taxes, it gets back $1.35. That .35 cents on the USD comes from my CA federal taxes dude. That makes you a welfare state, beholden to all California Union workers. jus saying. We pay in far more than we get back.

And how much does CA get back? You do know the other 49 are about to have to bailout CA, due to your social programs, right?

Do the road builder hire on more people or do they keep the same work force, are jobs made or created?
Not many .

Beyond the contractor paving the road, there's the contractor clearing the land, the contractor providing the paving materials, the suppliers of the equipment, the engineering firm designing and overseeing the construction, the suppliers of fuel, food and clothing for the workers and the businesses ready to locate near the off ramps.

But, it's glaringly apparent the Conservatives hate working people. Working people are targets of ridicule and scorn. Why all working people are illegal Mexicans, doncha know!

Conservatives hate clean environments because environmental regulations are the spawn of tree-hugging enviro-whackos. Conservatives hate fair wages and benefits because, if those wages and benefits were won through collective bargaining, it's a communist plot and a hindrance to an employers ability to exploit workers for profit.

Just how do Conservatives plan to create jobs here? We already know they would prefer those jobs be done oversees. The only good job, from a Conservative point of view, is management.

Is it new jobs or the same jobs ?
Which jobs? The pavers? The design engineers? The heavy equipment manufacturers? The businesses ready to open because there's good transportation available to ship their goods or draw customers? The suppliers of fuel, materials, food and other services to the construction workers? The police needed to patrol the roads? The snow plow operators needed to clear the roads in winter?

Which jobs are you worried about? There seem to be so many once you get over the politics that says any and all government project are a detriment.

Or do they just keep the same business busy employing the same unions slobs leaning on shovels ?

A "union slob" leaning on a shovel and collecting a pay check to support his family is better than a "union slob" collecting unemployment.

Even if it gave money to illegals, don't they spend the majority of the money? You know keeping people employed. They actually spend alot of their money.

Untrue. The majority of most illegal aliens' income is sent back home to Mexico to their families there.

They keep the same unions up and running.

And the same companies start side businesses in "their sisters names" to get government jobs for minorities.
Money goes into the same pocket .

Yes, money goes to the same pockets same contractors. It just gives them more work. It does not create new jobs.

I must have missed the union slobs somewhere. Next time you want a building built, call some of your Mexican slobs to do the work.

They don't want buildings built. They want gravel roads with people living in tents that were "Made in China". Because fools don't know any better.

In 2005 they got back $.78 fo every $1.

If you need those data here you go... The Tax Foundation - Federal Taxes Paid vs. Federal Spending Received by State, 1981-2005 Since 1985 California has paid in moe Federal tax dollars than they hve gotten back essentially subsidizing states like South Carolina that get back more than they paid in.

You have to wonder. If Blue states weren't subsidizing the Red states, perhaps their budgets would be balanced.

geeze, not another civil war.
A lot of those red states literally puts bread on your table.....we are a union, and it really sounds divisive to me with your post.

The onliest thing that creates jobs is tax cuts for billionaires. Cuz they like to tinkle down on the little people. They like to hire illegals to work on their lawns and gardens and pay em under the table below minimum wage. As it should be. They like to speculate on the stock market so the smart traders can get big bonuses and put their profits off shore. As it should be.

We ( the super rich ) don't need new roads. They fly where they want to go in their biz jets. As it should be.

It's not the Boners job to create jobs...It's his job to blame unemployment on Obama.

Either ONE is BAD for this Republic.
A worker in a union is bad for the Republic? How so? Should the commodity of labor be as open to exploitation as say the environment? Should management be the only force setting the price, conditions and supply of labor? Why the resentment toward working people?
