I have asked if any of them can come up with an legitimate excuse for Hillary to conduct official government business on her personal server and then try to destroy evidence of her seemingly illegal conduct. So far, I have not heard a single explanation other than she she has not (yet) been convicted of any wrongdoing.

What can one say about putative Americans who willingly ignore (or praise) her long history of unethical conduct? These people may switch their allegiance to someone else if she is forced to abandon her quest for the presidency, but they will effectively remain a 5th column in this country who are willing to subvert the rule of law for their own political objectives.

Of course this looks bad for Hillary, but I think I am beginning to understand why core Democrats refuse to acknowledge the damage done by Clinton's lies (I did not get a subpoena!..), destruction of emails, and refusal to hand over the server for 5 months and then when the law finally gets it, it is wiped clean,.

If they acknowledge the horrible position that Hillary is in, where do they turn? Sanders is a self proclaimed socialist so it may come down to waiting for Joe to come in and save the party. And they see that is not a comforting thought.
