Got to love it! The DNC said today that they don't see a path to regaining control of either the house or the senate in 2016 and will concentrate on the presidential race...hahahahahahahah Good luck with that...:banana::banana::banana::banana:

No chance for the House. If they don't take back the Senate, it will be a shock. They are going to have trouble in Ohio and Florida, just for beginners.

I thought it was a lock for the dems in the Senate? What is the seats up again for election....

There are only two Dem seats that can really be considered in play (Reid and Bennet in CO), whereas New Hampshire, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Florida, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are all Republican seats in decidedly purple states.

Love to see them run that trainwreck Hillary.

The Dems will re-take the Senate in 2016. This is a given.

For me it is a given so long as Hillary wins the White House. If something happens that derails her and we end up with Jeb or Marco, or God forbid Walker, then the Republicans probably would keep the Senate too. 2016 is going to be an extremely important election because if we end up with a two term president, that person will almost certainly have to replace a number of retiring Supreme Court members.

Maybe. If it's a close election where the winner is in doubt up until election day, you will have the turn-out to give the Dems the Senate. If Hillary stumbles along the way and is 5 points behind, the turnout will be lessened and it makes the race closer.
