Trouble filling the seats, Barry?

Democrats set to move Obama's big speech from 74,000-seater outdoor stadium to 20,000-seater indoor arena | Mail Online

Democrats are poised to avoid the danger of President Barack Obama accepting his party’s nomination before a partially-empty stadium by shifting his speech to an indoor arena and citing ‘severe weather’.
Yeah, I believe that as much as I believe they've been consciously trying to have rallies and speeches at smaller venues on purpose

‘The reason that we're not releasing the details on what a move to the arena would mean until that decision is made we don't want a lot of conflicting information out there.
Um... the reason they are not giving definitive information on what the move would mean, is because that would put conflicting information out there??? WTF??? Is their definitive information somehow not really definitive???

Democratic convention sources have indicated that the ‘contingency plan’ is at an advanced stage and that a move to the stadium appears certain.

‘It looks like a done deal to me,’ said one convention worker. ‘The decision’s apparently been taken and it’s just a matter of spinning it as being forced on us by the weather.’
OOPS! Cat's out of the bag

Convention delegates, party volunteers and Democratic officials gathered in Charlotte would make up about one-third of a crowd in the Bank of America stadium, which officials have said would be 65,000 people.
SO, if the delegates and such make up 1/3 of the 65,000 in the stadium, that's about 21,500... the arena they will be moving to holds about 21,000... Their will be a lot of pissed off people on buses if no one but delegates and such can get into the acceptance speech.

LOL

Saw this coming a mile away, The Dems will blame the Weather.

they can't now...

AP: "DNC Removes Chairs From Acceptance Speech Arena"
- In a suprise venue change today, the DNC moved President Obamas acceptance speech from a large outdoor stadium to a more intimate setting. The new venue boasts an elegant catering service and ample room for guests to mingle. Although all of the chairs have been removed from the arena, DNC organisers assured the AP that the purpose was to encourage networking and social comraderie.
In related news, the Charlotte High Bulldogs basketball team has unexpectedly cancelled tomorrow nights home coming game due to unforseen repairs needed at at their gymnasium.

Besides those delegates, you have the media:

Do not be deceived by all that talk of delegates and floor speeches: This is a convention of the media, by the media and for the media. There are some 15,000 representatives of the media here for the convention, and only about 5,000 delegates.

Did you really compare a Tropical Storm / Hurricane with an uncertain path to a 30-40% chance of rain on Thursday in Charlotte?

:lmao:

yes, he did. The dumb ass.

who gives a shit they moved inside because of rain.
find something else to whine about

they moved inside to a 20,000 seat arena, because they did not have the asses to fill the seats, and prime-time news footage of a shitload of empty seats would not play well for Obama... dumb ass.

Tell that to all the volunteers that were promised a seat to hear your Messiah.

Yea, we know it's because of rain. Got it. ;)

Between invited guest, government people, press and delegates, there are MORE than 20,000 people. They just screwed every single person they bussed in
They've offered them admission to 'a future event'.
