This is a fact.
Nobody can fight your battles for you... ultimately, only you can solve your problems.
Yes we have police, and they have the authority to arrest, and they can use any means necessary..
But to actually end the persistent problem, you are the only one who can do that for yourself.
Areas with a culture of Disproportionate reaction to adverse problems on the streets, while they are more violent, they are also safer places, because in those areas.. people know the order of things.
They know that if they hit you, they're going to get their head smashed in with a tire iron, so you are less likely to get hit.
They know that if they talk shit about your mom, they're going die... so you are less likely to be the butt of bad taste wisecracks about your mom.
They know that if they mess with your kids they'll be needing a tube to breathe, and they wont be walking for a few months... so you are less likely to have a kid who is being bullied.
Which is a benefit for most disabled people, because about half of disabled people are born with the disability.
The list goes on.
Also, what might look disproportionate to somebody who didn't see the whole incident... may very well in fact be very proportionate..
Being as Assholes don't understand legalese, they might also have a pretty damn good education... and what they need in order to learn... is a real bad ass whoopin, which never was a danger to society, and in the long run.. is better for society.
When what is "disproportionate" is the only thing that an asshole can learn from, it becomes by proxy... very proportionate.
This culture sums up the northeast...
The northeast actually has a much lower crime rate on average than the south.. whose culture is "polite", which allows the assholes to thrive.
