Did Creedence Clearwater Revival Ever Write A Bad Song?

I went through a hardcore CCR phase in HS, and that was the mid 80's...I never change the channel if I come across one of their songs.

This is my favorite:

I bet you liked it for the line --

"There's a bathroom on the right"

:eusa_angel:

Hey don't make fun of me for always messing up lyrics.

That's one of the misheard rock lyrics classics.

Although my favourite is still the Beatles line in "Michelle" -- "Sunday monkey play piano song... play piano song..."

I was 40 before I found out it wasn't: "Blinded by the light. Ripped up like a douche."

'Scuz me while I kiss this guy.

No. No they didn't.
I didn't really care for "Hey Tonight".

I'm burned out on a few of them...

Down on the Corner
Travelin Band
Fortunate Son

And there's some I never get tired of...

Green River
Keep on Chooglin
Long as I can see the Light
Lodi

This was done in '84, but it might as well be Creedence.

I believe that's the one he was accused of stealing from himself. lol

That's always been one of my favorite stories - when John Fogerty was sued for sounding too much like himself. Almost as good as when Neil Young was sued for not sounding enough like himself.

I don't know that story. Although I have to say, any time Neil Young doesn't sound like himself it's gotta be an upgrade.
