Some room should be saved in Guantanamo for future Obama's Library.

That most on the right want the illegal detentions to continue comes as no surprise.

Indeed, Guantanamo is just another Bush mess the president must try to clean up.
Just wondering, how much mess your President has already cleaned up? I am only aware about the mess he has brought to USA and to the big part of the whole world.

Whine all you want, but the gears are already turning to close it down, and I'll tell you how it's going to happen so you won't be surprised when it does. We have no legal grounds to hold a large part of those prisoners. Many have been there for a decade or more with no proof they did anything other than being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Most of those people will be moved to other countries. It will cost way too much to maintain the facility for the few people left, and the tea people will never be able to justify such a high cost for so few prisoners. Problem solved, and you can't do a thing to stop it.
