You have it half right. Yes Democrats will continue this suicidal strategy and contue losing. But Trump got elected because of Obama and Hillary's catastrophic record both internationally and domestically. And Dumbass Hillary stuck herself to Obama like glue, and ran on his record as an incumbent, because her delusional advisors told her so, or because she knew Obama had influence on Lynch and could keep her out of jail, so they struck a deal. In other words people were sick and tired of Obama.
