Dems must be expelled from office ASAP

I never realized admitting might not be the best was grounds for expulsion.

Actually looking at the video, Geitner's statements are more about the rest of the nations of the world can't rely on America for growth in the global economy, and that they have to start accomplishing growth themselves. They talk about Europe in this regard in the video. An interesting tidbit is that both the reporter and Geitner acknowledge that Europe and the United States have different views on how to accomplish this growth, and judging from the reporter's handling of the topic, it appears that Germany and other European nations are critical of the differences.

On the whole, there's really not a lot of un-Americanism, and if anything it sounds like Geitner is telling the rest of the world to start picking up the slack.

Biden's statements, nothing un-American really there except a warning we probably won't get all the jobs back. I think it's a bit of a crock, but Biden looks like he's being cynical even though, as the article notes, the economy has recovered, and claims for jobless benefits have fallen.

Obama's SecTres Geithner told the BBC that "US can 'no longer drive global growth" and yesterday Biden said "there's no possibility to restore 8 million jobs lost in the Great Recession."

This is a fundamentally un-American Administration and Democrat Party.

They must be expelled from power because they are now blatantly and publicly working against the interest of the American people.

I Love that Chart!

Bush was President since 2001!

The recession started the day Pelosi picked up the Speaker gavel.

Thank you for showing it graphically!

It confirms that Democrats are not healthy for the economy.
According to the chart, the job losses peaked when Pelosi took over in Jan 2009 and have been going steadily down.

The stock market long term does better under dem presidents by half a percent. That's before Obamas year 1 of 40 percent.

If we can make it a clean sweep and include the Republicans in this, you will have my support.

Immie

The economy is growing granted it hasn't trickled down to white trash republiklans.

Recovering only somewhat after investors fled in horror because they realized we elected an unAmerican Marxist, right?

Bullshit.

Geithner and Biden are telling the world their Marxist Boss is selling America short.

How? Give some reasoning to your arguments. Read the BBC and CBS article, watch Geithner get interviewed by the reporter from the BBC, you can't just say 'bullshit' and expect people to believe you. Especially when its response to a few paragraphs of thought on the material at hand.

Telling the rest of the world to start doing some work themselves and saying we may not get all the jobs lost in the biggest recession since the Great Depression is hardly selling America short.

The economy is not growing. It's stagnant and many economists are warning of a double dip.

As for your earlier comment regarding the stock market upswing of 40% last year, that mostly was due to the fact that the market was considerably oversold and people had a one in a lifetime opportunity to pick up some companies incredibly cheap. If Obama is personally responsible for that 40% rise, I assume then he is also responsible for these as well, yes?

Reagan never talked like that! Not once!

The Obama Reich is telling the world their Stimulus accomplishing the unstated goal of stifling economic activity and they will keep their foot on the throat of the American economy until they're removed from office

Frank, you're not making a lick of sense here. Why would Obama or anyone want to hurt the economy? If they purposely stagnate the economy, it makes the country their leading weaker, plus it makes them less likely to continue to hold the political power they do. What's the point? They'd only be hurting themselves too, in the end. No one in American politics does thing for the lulz.

Plus, that's not even what Geithner or Biden was talking about at all. Geithner was talking about how the rest of the world needs to help grow the world economy as well, it can't just come from America anymore. America took a bit of beating from the recession, as Biden's point about job loss pointed out. Biden was just talking about how the millions of jobs lost probably won't be regained. It was the biggest recession since the Depression after all.

Obama wants to hurt the USA because he's trying to make things worse, I don't know how many more times I can say it. He is NOT trying to make things better. Even Clinton talked about a robust and vibrant US economy. The only other Liberal loser that talked in these terms was Jimmy Carter

I've been around for a while and so far, every recession has been labeled "the worst since the Great Depression" and the hysterics wear off quickly.

Frank, just saying he is doesn't mean he actually is, especially when its contrary to their own benefit for them to do as you claim. Biden said we weren't going to get all the jobs back, but pointed out they created half a million jobs were created in the private sector within the past five months. The article also pointed out unemployment claims were dropping. They want the country to fail because the headline is "well, we're not gonna recover to what we had" and you ignore the rest in which they indicate there's been some recovery?

That's just silly, right there.

Wow. That's so terrific and it only cost $850Billion! What a deal!

It's just coincidence that everyone in the Obama Admin and their Pravda is talking down the US economy! It happens like that -- it's called a coinkydink.

They want the country to fail for the same reason FDR did: Progressives like FDR, Hitler and Obama thrive on economic misery, it lets them get away with anything!
