Don't be fooled by these clowns. It's just a smear campaign.

Voting on the House floor to officially start impeachment procedures would potentially result in a down vote and more importantly, would subject their investigation to the court system including appeals all the way to the SCOTUS. Additionally it would subject any witness in the inquiry to cross examination by the President's legal counsel.

It's all a charade. The Democrats would shoot themselves in the foot if they vote to officially start impeachment proceedings. Every request for documents and witnesses would be met with a court challenge as Barr will not appoint a special counsel to circumvent due process. This would ensure any inquiry lasted for years.
